ABOUT ME

My name is Roisin Markey and I am married with two children and live in North County Dublin.

I commenced my training as a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist in 2013 and completed my Honours Degree in May 2017.

I began my career by volunteering in organisations such as The Village Counselling Service, Tallaght, The Beacon of Light Counselling Centre, Clondalkin and Fingal Counselling Service, Swords.  I then went on to set up my own private practice in Drumcondra and I am now based in Malahide.

Due to the recent change to all of our lives I have undertaken online training to add to my core training and now offer online therapy.

It was my battle with life that brought me to this new learning adventure. It’s thanks to this learning and insight into who I am that I now have the freedom to be myself and enjoy all that life has to offer and no longer “battle” with it. Don’t get me wrong I still have my wobbles from time to time but I have now learned the tools that help me overcome the obstacles that I put in my way.

It is this gift that I want to pass on to people so they can experience the freedom I now have to be who they truly want to be.
