My name is Roisin Markey and I am married with two children and live in North County Dublin.

I commenced my training as a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist in 2013 and completed my Honours Degree in May 2017.

​

It was my battle with life that brought me to this new learning adventure. It’s thanks to this learning and insight into who I am that I now have the freedom to be myself and enjoy all that life has to offer and no longer “battle” with it. Don’t get me wrong I still have my wobbles from time to time but I have now learned the tools that help me overcome the obstacles that I put in my way.

It is this gift that I want to pass on to people so they can experience the freedom I now have to be who they truly want to be.​

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts Degree(2nd Class Honours) in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.

• Master's Degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

• IACP accredited Professional Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.

• ASSIST Suicide Intervention Training. Supervised regularly by IACP accredited supervisor as per guidelines.

• Professional Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

• Accredited Therapist with the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (ACP).
